About

Welcome!

My name is Dani, I am 21 years old, and I am from the UK. I'm starting a child nursing course in September 2015 and I am using this blog as a way of reflecting on that course, engaging with the (student) nurse community and as a way to remember everything that happens! Having already been to university once before (and completing the first year of an English degree), I understand how quickly time can go. I am also going to use this blog as a platform for my own personal posts and adventures outside of nursing, as I think it's important to also talk about all the other important aspects of being a student and about my hobbies and interests.

These interests include books, TV and films, music, photography, feminism, travelling, and volunteering, as well as finding ways to make organising and studying more fun, less work, and making notes look pretty and interesting!

I hope you enjoy reading the blog, and I especially hope it proves useful to anyone considering studying nursing themselves! I don't claim to be an expert in studying nursing, or being an expert in student life, but I hope this can give an insight into some of the experiences I have and things I learn along the way.

For more information about what this blog once was, and what it has become, read my 'A New Beginning' post published in March 2015.
